Metropolitan Gaming has announced the appointment of Mark Hands as its new Director of Food, Beverage & Hospitality.
Hands, in this newly created role, will be responsible for the dining and beverage operations across eight Metropolitan Gaming venues across the UK.
Following on from his time working for Alea Glasgow as Venue Director, which is part of the Metropolitan Gaming Group, Hands will now manage team members, ensure quality and consistency of food and service, handle budget and financial planning, develop menus, maintain inventory and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at the eight UK venues.
Coming into this role, the new hire brings with him experience in the hospitality sector which covers over 36 years, including roles in Michelin Restaurants, Group Manager for Hilton Hotels, and Managing Director for a nine-hundred-acre resort in South Africa.
Hands will aim to enhance the overall guest experience working as Director of Food, Beverage & Hospitality including through new strategic investments and will look to increase revenue and efficiency in all areas.
